The Ozzie Sheople Are Being Fleeced

Couldn't have expressed this better myself.  The only thing the author didn't mention is the Sheople, that is, the average Ozzie...the comfortably complacent citizen of the Commonwealth.

Unfortunately, I would have to answer the query in the affirmative, for not only has the Australian Government been sabotaging Codex in the name of Big Corpa, but similarly, has been doing a damn fine job on their behalf while keeping the populace in the dark, regarding the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) and its effects.

The only way to rectify being fleeced of your rights is to remove the wool from your eyes.

TPP ( Trans Pacific Partnership )

OK, I know I have been harping on this secret and totalitarian piece of US Corpa-centric crap for some time now, but the pot is getting hot and the shit is about to hit the fan.  Sorry about mixing my metaphors, but I am getting fucking angry over the sheer gall of big business' and "our" governments' proposals to hoodwink the masses; who in turn are sleeping in their own little comfort zones with the aid of the soma of consumerism or of the sentiment of  "Fuck off, I'm alright Jack"!

You can review my last post, which gives details of what is available about the agreement and their potential affects on you, (or if that is too difficult for you sorry, getting a bit angrier there), or you can listen to this primer over a cuppa by way of an interview with Phillip Adams on LNL.  Alternatively you can get a perspective from the American media here, which includes a video and a transcript.

The more one looks into the probable effects of this agreement on our National sovereignty, one realizes that it is not only a money grab by big Corpa, but the beginning of a Global Totalitarian movement, controlling what we eat, what we read, what we watch, how we medicate, how we breed, where we live, etc etc and when we die!... The complete antithesis of Freedom.

George Orwell's prognosis of society's ills in "1984" is out by 20 years, but his prediction is imminent if we don't participate as individuals now. 

If you value Freedom. please become informed and act.  There are three things you can do:-

1.  Discuss the agreement and its potential outcomes with friends and family everywhere, including social media.  Use hashtags such as:-  #TPP # TransPacificPartnership #BigCorpa #BigPharma #Monsanto #Freedom ; which will help make your input seen.

2. Contact your local member and make yourself heard.  In Oz, you can find your Federal members here.

Please remember that most of these pollies really don't know what is going on, as the negotiations regarding the agreement are being held in secret and are mainly privy to Big Corpa and some US officials, who are in turn affiliated with Big Corpa.  So be gentle and just let them know you are concerned and that you will peruse the matter to the next election.

3. Big Corpa is only Big, because we spend our dollars with them.  If we buy and think local, not only will we become healthier, we will improve our local economy and suck the venom out of Big Corpa.  Read those labels. Doh!  Labeling, there's another issue to get mad about

 

Free Trade Agreements...not

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against "TRANSPARENT" free trade and co-operation.  However, what is being done in secrecy are not free trade agreements, but control of societies via their pseudo governments, who are in reality, nothing but mouth pieces for Big Corpa.  We have seen how NAFTA ( North American Free Trade Agreement ) has not only failed in its objectives, but has also forced societies to comply to Big Corpa.

We now have TPP ( Trans Pacific Partnership ) and TAFTA ( Trans Atlantic Free Trade Agreement ) to contend with.  It is curious that the common denominator with all these agreements is the USA, who's political and economic advisers are board members of Monsanto, Pfizer et al.

Meanwhile, back on the homestead, we are distracted, some times entertained and oft' times bewildered by our "Democratic" processes.  The two party system that democracy has now become, keeps us glued to the main stream media as they ( the Pollies ) pretend to transparently battle each other for the votes of the sheeple, whilst in the background they are wheeling and dealing with Big Corpa.

We are being kept apart from the goings on of our governments whilst at the same time being brain washed by slogans promoting the efficacy of Free Trade, GMO's, Vaccines, Fracking and Consumerism. Repeated long enough and loud enough, we begin to believe what main stream media (MSM) are pushing on to us on behalf of their paying brethren. Our world view and thus our morality and ethics are being manipulated by these special interests.

This lack of transparency of our Governments and Big Business can particularly be seen with the secret draft of the Trans-Pacific Partnership "free trade agreement" to be negotiated on Nov 19th in Salt Lake City, USA. So secret in fact, that no one aside from Government Leaders and Big Money has seen it. Not even our local members of parliament.
